Should we start with the basics? I’m an accomplished writer, news producer, and content creator. I’ve won awards for my work as a documentary producer and for my work as a newsroom leader. I’m a proud husband, a father, and an animal lover – one dog, two cats. I played hockey growing up and I still have skates in the garage. These days, I stay busy by running and helping my kid learn to play sports.
My philosophy on content is simple: Create things people enjoy. I believe the modern audience – especially in the social media space – is looking to engage with entertaining personalities who consistently deliver uplifting content. Sometimes, the personality comes from a person. Other times, that “personality” is more abstract – a place, a show, a game, or a style.

It is our job as creators to meet people where they are. We create personalities worthy of a follow. We craft content that establishes those personalities, and keeps our audience coming back. We have fun. We explore. And we engage with our audience authentically. We are not afraid to fail on camera, because we know those moments make us human.
I suspect humanity will produce a lot of generic, uninteresting content over the next decade, especially as A.I. replaces human creativity in many crucial positions. I believe a human touch will help set true creatives apart going forward. And I look forward to helping shape the next generation of content – whatever it ends up looking like.
